Create clean, marketplace-ready product cutouts in seconds.
The Challenge
- ✗Inconsistent backgrounds across product listings make your store look unprofessional
- ✗Messy shadow edges and stray pixels fail marketplace background compliance checks
- ✗Manual Photoshop cutouts take 10–30 minutes per product image at scale
The Solution
Using the Background Remover entirely automates this workflow.
- 1Upload your product photo — on any background, including messy studio setups
- 2The AI isolates the product and removes the background in 3–8 seconds
- 3Download as PNG (transparent) or JPG with white background, ready to upload
⚙️
Recommended Settings
For Amazon, choose JPG with white background. For Etsy or Shopify where a transparent PNG fits your theme, use the PNG download.
⚠️
Known Limitations
- •Clear glass, transparent packaging, and liquid products require manual refinement
- •Products with very similar color to the background take more processing passes
- •Extreme close-ups with out-of-focus edges may have soft cutout boundaries
Frequently Asked Questions
Is PNG the best format for transparent cutouts?
Yes. PNG supports transparency. JPG does not — use JPG when you need a white background (e.g., Amazon listings).
Can I make white background product photos for Amazon?
Yes. Select "JPG with white background" after removal. This meets Amazon's main product image requirement.
What if the product has soft edges?
Soft edges (fabric, fur, fine mesh) are handled well. Extremely wispy edges may need a manual edge-refinement pass.
Does it work on clothing and apparel?
Yes, especially flat-lay and hanging garments. Ghost mannequin setups may need the removed mannequin treated separately.
Can I batch process multiple product images?
Currently one image at a time. Batch processing is on the roadmap for business accounts.
What image size works best?
At least 800px on the longest edge. Higher resolution gives the AI more detail to work with for clean edges.
